InspirED is a partnership between four award-winning arts producers and promoters in Somerset and Somerset County Council with the support of SASH, SAPHTO, RIO and Arts Council England.
Somerset Art Works – Somerset’s only countywide agency dedicated to developing the visual arts. They initiate a wide range of projects in a variety of settings, working to increase public engagement, weaving together communities and raising the profile of the vibrant contemporary visual, digital and applied arts scene in Somerset.
Somerset Film – bringing people and technology together to create, innovate and empower communities. They work across three strands: community access, creative development, film and digital production. They deliver a wide range of activities across the county from their base at community media centre The Engine Room.
SPAEDA – arts education charity providing leadership and skills training, advice and resources, research and advocacy across the arts, for the education sector. They help to increase children and young people’s access to arts and culture, raising aspirations and widening opportunities for 0-25’s and those who work with them.
Take Art – pioneering arts charity, serving the towns, villages and rural communities of Somerset. They provide opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to experience, participate and work within the arts. Their areas of work are rural touring, dance, music, theatre and early years.
Somerset County Council – The Local Authority’s Children and Families services work in partnership with a number of other organisations to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and young people in Somerset – helping them to stay safe, be healthy, enjoy and achieve, make a positive contribution and achieve economic well-being.
